Anna's Career Highlights

• 1994

I earned my Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida, College of Fine Arts and headed off to Utah with two of my closest friends to become artists!

• 1995 - 2001

My friends stayed in the arts. I admire them to this day.  I moved on to the field of criminal justice, serving as a probation officer for less than a year before being promoted to supervisor and eventually managing the office for a private psychiatrist firm dedicated to treating the criminal justice population.​

• 2001 - 2011

My personal life moved me from Tampa to Orlando.​  I was hired on as an Adult Mental Health Specialist for the Florida Department of Children and Families, office of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (SAMH).  I continued to work my way up in the office, taking on positions with increasing responsibility until the office divided jurisdictions and I became Program Supervisor of the newly formed Circuit 18 office of SAMH.  It was during this phase of my career that I worked full time while going to school in the evenings to earn my Masters.

• 2008

I earned my Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. Go Knights!

• 2011-2012

I took a calculated risk and quit my government job to work with a group of behavioral health local top leadership to write the response for a State of Florida, Department of Children and Families invitation to negotiate. Our efforts ultimately resulted in being awarded the contract to provide behavioral health managing entity services under the name of Central Florida Cares Health System.

• 2012 - 2019

Central Florida Cares Health System (CFCHS) was born!​  As Chief Operating Officer of the organization, I was responsible for the management and leadership for a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors and employing approximately 20 professionals.  CFCHS is accountable for over $80,000,000 annually in publicly funded behavioral health services in Central Florida.

 

• 2019

After playing a major role in the launch and success of Central Florida Cares Health System, I took another calculated career risk and started my own consulting business.  Thank you for browsing my website and considering me for your business needs!​
